Making A Waldorf Doll

The Process of Making a Waldorf Doll...

 
Select some fabric.  In this case I have used a piece of felt that I have made.

Cut out the body shape and sew it together.
Pure wool stuffing, tubular bandage and twine are needed to make the head.


Sew one end of the tubular bandage and turn it out, then stuff the bandage to the desired head size and tie it off at the other end.
Tie off another section to determine the neck and shape of the head.
Using more twine, shape the eye line and the back of the skull.  See the picture below for a side on view.


Select some skin coloured tricot fabric to cover the head and form the hands.


Attach the hands then stuff the body and attach the head.
Add a cute little hat.

Tuck in a little fringe and sew it in.
Embroider the face and you have a completed doll.
